About Us

My primary goal is to teach kids to be safe. All students will be expected to put their heads and faces in the water the first day. It is impossible to teach them to be safe without getting their heads in the water. No goggles are allowed during lessons, this is for safety. All students must be able to open their eyes and determine which way is up. Each lesson consists of 25 minutes of instruction and five minutes of “free time.” However, if your student is having a difficult day they may work the full entire 30 minutes. Please remember much of what we teach your child will be learning for the first time. Some kids struggle with one or more of the safety elements, but teaching and practicing that skill each day is very important to help them overcome their fear and help keep them safe. Your child may be very uncomfortable putting their face in the water but it is our job to help overcome those fears. It can be very difficult for parents to watch their child be scared, but please remember we are here to help your child become safe and have FUN! Swimming is a great activity for all kids to enjoy, and I want all of my students to enjoy it by being safe. All teachers have CPR training.

About Me

Hello! My Name Is Mindy Aronow.
Swimming is my passion, it has been for most of my life. Growing up I swam in high school and college. After college, I began my professional career as a nurse (40+ Years), but my love for swimming never faded. I started my own swim lesson business 33 years ago because I love teaching kids how to be safe and how to enjoy the sport/activity I love. Throughout the last 33 years I’ve taught thousands and thousands of kids how to swim, many have gone on to swim in high school and college. Along with my own business, I coached swimming for numerous teams for 20 years.
I love working with children and teaching them how to swim. Being safe in the water is incredibly important to me and I’m confident I can teach your child to swim and have fun.
I look forward to working with your child.
